Hey guys… So I guess none of the blog posts I have been writing and posting have even been going live! I guess that’s my own fault for not checking them LOL. Anyhoo… About two months ago I had to cut my hair. I have never liked my hair short. My hair is naturally curly so when it’s short, I tend to have overly frizzy curls and I think I look a bit like Annie (you know… Red curly hair in an afro-style hair style).

My friend on the other hand thinks I look more like Merida from Brave… But that’s with my LONG hair! I won’t argue with that one. Although Ariel is my princess for life, my red hair isn’t as smooth and wavy as Ariel’s. Well… Maybe if I was underwater haha. So fine then, Merdia, we have cool hair… And a Scottish heritiage!

Haha. Anywho, the point being my hair is short but for the first time in my life… I actually really like how it came out! Especially since I cut itself and it’s only the second time in my life that I have done that. New photos will be coming soon but for the mean time… Here’s my Snapchat diary! My hair is about a half an inch longer now lol but obviously you can’t really tell.

It’s shorter on the left side (stage right – LMFAO) so I don’t part it down the middle… And yes it was supposed to be. What do you think of it? Way too long of a blog about nothing but cutting my hair? Yeah… I agree. Pfft. Let me know in the comments below!

Hey guys. So today I heard that Justin Bieber is being attacked because he had dreadlocks. Dreadlocks. Dreadlocks are a natural style of hair and not JUST FOR ONE TYPE OF PERSON. I do not understand how something natural can be considered culturally inappropriate because of someone’s ethnic background? There are tons of other people in the industry who also have this hair style so why attack Justin Bieber for it?

A few years back… Like a decade or so ago… I really loved dreadlocks (and still do!). I loved them so much I decided to actually try dreadlocks! Seriously! I am also a huge fan of cornroll (or is it corn rows? idk my computer wants to auto correct it…) braids and twists too. In high school, my sister would practice on my hair and I got a bunch of cute hair styles involving braids and twists from her! Back then, everyone loved it! Now… I’m not sure how people would take it?

I couldn’t hang because they were way too itchy for me… But for the past two years of my life… I didn’t have a choice. I won’t lie… I fell into a depressed phase of life and stopped caring about a lot in life… This caused me to stop brushing my hair for a while… Which caused it to go into it’s NATURAL state all on its own. Yes, my hair dreaded itself into a side ponytail (I kid you not) and a few smaller dreads in random places for almost a year and a half. I was unable to get it out and finally opted to cut it which lead to my new short hair style I debuted a few days ago on Facebook.

I styled my hair for that time period with my dreadlocks as apart of my style… It finally became too much to handle and I chopped it off myself (after it finally moved far enough from my skull to be cut).

Dreadlocks are not a one size fits some type of hairstyle. Dreadlocks are both a lifestyle (/hairstyle) and a natural form of hair for more than one ethnic group. I cannot speak for everyone’s culture, but I do know that my own culture does naturally grow dreads. To top it off, its still a really cute hairstyle for both guys and girls!! I hope Justin Bieber ignores all the ignorant hate and keeps them!

First I wanted to make a different notebook for each section of planning because it seemed more organized and easier… After doing this for several years and having problems with theft, losing notebooks, having to start all over again… I’ve gotten to the point where in 2021, I’m going to use a different approach/planning method…

I’m only going to have 1 notebook, 2 MAX. Probably with either 3 or 5 subjects and only 1 daily planner… everything is going to be all together. Then I will only need to carry 1-2 notebooks and 1 planner.

Hey guys! So I got this pencil bag about a month or so ago and it was all pink at first… So of course I had to go in and make it purple instead!

I decided to use mixed medias including a gold hinted metallic purple acrylic paint, a lavendar oil based marker (I LOVE THESE MARKERS SO MUCH!), some purple nail polish, silver nail polish, purple felt tip pens, and regular crayola markers too.

I wanted to cover up some writing on the back of it and I emphasized the “LOVE” by adding cursive on top multiple times.

Overall, I love the end result of the bag. I think it could pass for an actual bag that you would find in the store like this.

I’m not sure what do you guys think of it? Would you buy it from a store designed like this? Or is it more of an artsy “you can totally tell it’s scribbled on” by a person… haha.

Knot On My Watch hair detangler is the bees knees. Literally after trying so many different options, I ran into this product and I am never using anything else to detangle my hair ever again.

The instant you put it in your hair the brush just starts to move through the locks. I have extremely curly hair… It’s my lion’s mane (I’m a Leo) and my curls are rather important to me. Plus they keep my neck warm like a scarf during the cold months… So cutting off my hair was literally going to make me super upset. The absolute best part is it’s not expensive at all! I got it at my local Target store for under $15 which is great because before I found it I tried looking for solutions on YouTube and I found some companies and products that may have worked but they weren’t really in my budget at the time.

Hey guys! So Halloween is just a few days away and I have no idea what to do for a costume! Call my unoriginal but I think I might be some sort of cat… A black cat. Haha. Only because I have the ears and dont want to be a zebra again this year! Anywho… I went to Snapchat for some ideas and tried a couple of Halloween filters for inspiration. I actually might try one of these!

So… I guess I do have a few options. I probably won’t end up doing one of these but maybe a combination of them in someway… I’m going to have to rely on makeup mostly. Not halloween makeup but regular makeup which is fine because I have all the resources to try out most of these including the unicorn/Kesha lol.

I don’t know! I feel so unoriginal that I have no ideas on what to be this year… I was going to be a zebra then I remembered I was a zebra last year for Halloween… I guess I just own a lot of zebra printed clothing lol. My other idea was a peacock because I do have a long maxi dress thats peacock. Obviously it would be more than the dress in the costume but I want to use my cat ears somehow because I just got them, its probably the only chance I have to wear them and technically I’ve never actually been a cat before… Any kind of cat… What else has pointy ears like a cat? They are black ears that light up and blink blue… And I have styrofoam that lights up too that I can turn into a tail…. Maybe I could still do the unicorn and make the ears and tail for that instead?

Hey loves! So I recently got a new backpack, sun hat, and accessories bag (it came as a set, but someone stole the other one). I’m obsessed with a desert theme right now.

Definitely bring a hat! Doesn’t matter the kind! And sunscreen of course I packed more than this ity bity bag.

n

n

n

See what I mean by obsessed with the desert theme lol. So I figured I would take photos for a “what’s in my bag”, but instead of my purse or backpack, I shot my essential tool bag for trips or camping (it’s clothes, gloves, beanie, etc) I am going to show you inside of my “camping tool bag”. That would be this guy! My favorite bag of all time right now!

I PERSONALLY need So, first things first, my phone case is “Armour Shell” a very strong super protective phone case. Heavy duty! If you drop it, the screen won’t be anywhere near the ground. The case goes almost a half an inch on each side plus top and bottom!

Definitely needed for trips especially camping (not like your phone will really live too long to begin with… unless you have a generator hah!

Starting at “9 o clock” and working clockwise: I have my cords, wall plug and not pictured my car adapter too. You know for the ride. Next is my glasses, followed by my necklace on a lanyard that holds my flashlight, my pepper spray, and a knife (again, not pictured sorry!). It’s my “protection” necklace if you get what I mean (duh…)

Next to my phone case is my stylus. Two portable chargers (explains the cords right? Lol), an LED reading light, and now, we made it to the FUN SIDE!

I of course brought my pipe, a torch lighter (probably a good idea to bring a spare lighter and matches…) plus my grinder that holds my green, grinds it, collects the keef, etc and lastly my wax pen & wax container.

Remember you also need a bunch of other things, batteries, check the weather before the trip, etc. pack accordingly even if it’s a road trip, beach trip, Vegas trip, etc.

Anywho! These photos are the “behind the scenes” photos of ONE of the photo shoots I did last November. The clothing sold out SO QUICK! Thank you guys so much!

Two other things! My baby Bambi went missing right before Halloween, and I haven’t been able to find him anywhere since. I’m going to start a Facebook page for him being lost in hopes to reach out to more people! He has been apart of every single photo shoot since I got him as a baby two years ago, and has quite the modeling portfolio. I’m devastated that he’s gone and haven’t been able to focus on anything since his disappearance.

He went missing October 26, 2017 in San Bernardino, CA near Cal State San Bernardino. He’s 4lbs full grown. Fawn colored with long hair. He’s half Yorkshire Terrier and half Chihuahua. Very friendly and rarely barks except at other dogs. He was wearing a black collar with white skulls.

If you know anything about his disappearance or know where he might be please let me know! No questions asked, I just miss him terribly and want him home. Lastly, Lilac Babes will be continuing as both my online shop AND I am going to be making original designs as well! My old clothing brand I’m A Jerk Industries will come back when I have a chance to work on it. My main focus is Lilac Babes, because I find it fun and think anything you do in life should be something you WANT to be doing. Lilac Babes will still only sell items in all shades of purple and OUT OF THIS WORLD apparel, accessories, & beauty products (aka aliens, outer space, UFO’s, etc.) the only difference will be some of the items are going to be original designs! I’m excited so I hope you are too!
