Hey guys! So I recently received this as a gift! It’s an upgrade of my original one!
And amazingly it’s also purple! My favorite color of all time. I rarely use it though. Only when I have to go somewhere fancy or get ready for an event, etc…
This is where I started playing around with photography again… You might notice that I love playing with angles and the focus a lot of times… Focusing on words both up close and in the distance is one of my favorite things to do. I want to get the right photo! You know?
Lol. So anywho, my old one is the exact same brand and model. The newer one has more features though. It comes with two detachable pieces (pictured). It’s also MUCH MUCH larger than my old one! By like… 5 inches! It’s crazy!
The old one was a rose gold sort of a color… It’s also more round at the head where the brush is and my new one is more flat round… It still has bristles all the way around it. It’s just designed more like a brush…
And again I played with focusing on the names to show that it’s the same brand and model… Lol. The newer one just has “knotectomy” which is “precision knot surgery” according to the box… Definitely something I occasionally need because my hair is naturally curly.
I haven’t tried it out yet, but I will soon and hopefully compare them 🙂 I still kept my old one too… I’m not sure why since I won’t use it anymore… But either way 🙂 im very happy with my new one. The features, the detail to knots, the color! The only disadvantage is since it is larger, it weighs a slight bit more so holding it up for long periods might make your wrist a little tired lol. But not much! What do you think? Does anyone have one of these? Either the old or new? What are your thoughts on it? Let me know in the comments!
Hey everyone. So lately I’ve been kinda of obsessed with “film cameras” specifically Hugi and Kuji. Which aren’t real film cameras… they are just APPs on your phone that make your photos look like they were taken back in the 90’s with light leaks and grain. Complete with a fake date in the corner… I have like 10 different ones but Hugi is the best followed by Kuji in case anyone wants to try them out 🙂
These first three were taken by Hugi. In addition to the nostalgic film look… Hello POP ROCKS! LOL. Unfortunately I actually lost both of them after taking these photos and never got to eat them 🙁 thankfully they were lost in my room and are still sealed so one day if they ever turn up again… LOL 😉
The rest of the photos were actually taken with a camera named 1998… which is strange because the year they use it 1996 and I spent almost 30 minutes yesterday trying to figure out which camera used 1998, thinking that logically it would be camera 1998… no. It’s actually Hugi that uses the 1998 date…
Also don’t judge me but I kinda went hog wild on taking these photos so there is quite a few of them… lol I ended up deleting the regular photos I took and opted to just use the “film” ones to post for my diary 😛
Yeah… I promise on my next nostalgic trip using photography I won’t take as many photos… which will be today with my cotton candy push pop 😀 I have lots of cool old skool candy on my hands hahah
Whew. Thankfully that’s finally the last one. Imagine if I had actually edited all the others I took with the normal camera. Aye way too many, I couldn’t even decide which ones to post!! Nor could I really decide which ones are my favorites either… some of them are really similar, yes, but even a slight change can take a photograph a long way.
So, what do you think? Is it film overkill? I should just stick to my real film diaries. I just haven’t had time to develop anything and with real disposable film cameras I tend to spread the photos out so it takes quite a while for me to finish the film roll in order to get it developed in the first place… ironically real film doesn’t even have the date. I mean some cameras did but not the disposable kind… I had a whole black and white roll once. That took years to go through because I don’t take black and white too often…
Anyways though, which one of these is your favorite? Do you have one or you can’t decide? Or you don’t like any of them? Let me know in the comments 🙂 xoxo
Hey guys! So a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine gave me a really awesome gift out of the blue. At first I didn’t honestly know what it was specifically for, but I knew it was a tray for your lap. I started using mine while watching TV and working on my iPad or MacBook. Then I got curious to google it because it comes with a soap holder (see below) that isn’t attached to it and I wanted to find out what it was for…
Vivo Home Bamboo Bathtub Caddy
That’s when I learned it’s true usage! It’s a bathtub caddy for relaxing in the tub! It even has a slot for holding your wine glass specifically.
I immediately fell in love with mine all over again! I started to look through photos of them to see what people used them for… and technically it doesn’t have to be used in the bathtub… or even the bathroom! It can be used anywhere you want to.
They also come in several different styles and looks. Not just color/type of wood (possibly but not sure about that) wise! This one one make it look like a fancy marble style bathroom. The kind in a super huge bathroom with a jet spa bathtub and a super soft fluffy bathrobe with matching slippers constantly hanging up on a hook just outside the tub… oh sorry I was day dreaming! LOL 😉
This one has a lot of ridges that I think may function better if it is used as a bathroom caddy rather than a portable desk like I currently do. Look wise though I think the ridges add style to it! Especially in the bathtub. It’s amazing how different cuts of wood can make something so unique.
They come in both light and dark brown!
Here’s another color that adds a completely different look/style. The darker wood adds a rustic old style look to a bathroom. I love how they tied the wash clothes up with a string. So simple but it really takes it up there to look extremely classy/rich. By rich I don’t literally mean a lot of money. I mean it makes the room look rich with the color choice. I don’t like the metal bars/poles on the second lighter option. The metal makes it look… out of place? Cheaper? Just… not as nice I suppose…
Definitely feeling the darker one for a bathroom though! It’s so simple and basic. It’s literally a piece of wood just planked across the tub… complete still with a wine glass holder… they all have one. Surprisingly no soap caddy though… isn’t this supposed to be for a tub? Haha advertise holding wine glasses, but don’t drop your soap! Lmao I tease.
See the ones with a bunch of options still look just as nice but you have the option to hold your wine and your towels! Hopefully it doesn’t fall into the bathtub though! Oops…
See here’s an example of how I tend to currently use mine… it stays next to my bed/tv because I rarely sit at my desk… I have no idea why but… hey I can still have it hold my wine glass! Just have to get some wine glasses first though 😛
I really feel the emphasis on the wine here… but idk maybe they should also have some photos with tea cups or coffee mugs… just for those of us that rarely or never drink wine… Although putting my OJ in a wine glass makes me feel fancy… putting grape juice in my mine glass makes me feel like a liar lol
This one has a wooden holder for your tablet. I wish mine had one like that. It makes the entire caddy look a lot nicer overall and it’s probably more sturdy than the simple wires with a cloth…
For those of you who are confused as to what I am talking about see above. The book or iPad holder is literally just a wire with some material sewn onto it. Most companies put their name here for advertising. Too bad that makes it look ugly and cheap. Yes mine had it too. No exception. Well except for these ones. I noticed the dark brown one doesn’t even have a holder at all, while two or three of them have wooden holders, but the majority of them all come with the simple wire and the company’s branded material right in your face…
Way to be subtle guys… I mean the names already printed on the wood towards the bottom… why does it have to be five inches above it. It’s like a repeat. I’m done ranting about the company names. Let’s focus on how amazing these things are and how great they function both inside and outside of the bathtub!
What do you think? Do you have one already? Would you get one? Would you prefer the wooden/bamboo caddy or a simple wire one that they sell for $5 at the discount stores? Definitely more budget friendly. These caddy’s range in price from $50-$70 ! I mean I LOVE mine… what about you? Is it a good investment? Would you get one?
xo, Rose

Hey guys… So I guess none of the blog posts I have been writing and posting have even been going live! I guess that’s my own fault for not checking them LOL. Anyhoo… About two months ago I had to cut my hair. I have never liked my hair short. My hair is naturally curly so when it’s short, I tend to have overly frizzy curls and I think I look a bit like Annie (you know… Red curly hair in an afro-style hair style).
My friend on the other hand thinks I look more like Merida from Brave… But that’s with my LONG hair! I won’t argue with that one. Although Ariel is my princess for life, my red hair isn’t as smooth and wavy as Ariel’s. Well… Maybe if I was underwater haha. So fine then, Merdia, we have cool hair… And a Scottish heritiage!
Haha. Anywho, the point being my hair is short but for the first time in my life… I actually really like how it came out! Especially since I cut itself and it’s only the second time in my life that I have done that. New photos will be coming soon but for the mean time… Here’s my Snapchat diary! My hair is about a half an inch longer now lol but obviously you can’t really tell.
It’s shorter on the left side (stage right – LMFAO) so I don’t part it down the middle… And yes it was supposed to be. What do you think of it? Way too long of a blog about nothing but cutting my hair? Yeah… I agree. Pfft. Let me know in the comments below!
Welcome to Rosie Says Hello! If you are new here be sure to subscribe for new posts! You might notice A LOT of the pages are not working or might say ‘coming soon’. I really wanted to start blogging. I miss it. So the pages are being worked on.6
Anyway, so before I really begin with the posts, I need some help from you guys! I made a new blog post graphic but don’t know which one I like the best so I want you to help me decide!
So what did you guys think of look one number of Chrissy’s Knee High Socks? Are you excited for look number two? I originally had an entirely different look planned for this! I wanted to go with a “Oops I Did it Again” – Britney Spears type of thing, but then I decided that wasn’t really my style and flipped the whole thing upside down!
The socks were pink and gray Argyle style and they remind me of the Britney Spears video don’t they?! Or preppy girl 101 hah! I took a different route. Something that was wild and bright.
I went with one of my favorite shirts – it’s a silky all over print retro styled fish button up blouse. It’s very hard to pair with anything due to the wildness of the print, both color wise and pattern, so I always go with something really out there! The shirt really does give off a retro vibe, so I decided to add on some round pink glasses, Bermuda shorts and a pink beanie.
The socks are even thicker than the ones with prints on them. Since the pattern is so complex, they have pretty much a double layer for the gray and then one for the pinks. It came in super handy because lately it’s been very cold and it even rained yesterday!
The look was topped off with a gold necklace that had pearls and pink hearts and a gold “Bonjour” belt from ShopLuvB.com’s “Bonjour Dress”. I went with a lilac lipstick color which I have since fallen in love with!
Since the look had a hippy – 70’s vibe, I decided to kick off my shoes in the middle of the shoot and curl my toes, so to speak.
What do you think of look number two? Are you into all these amazing designs and styles of Chrissy’s Knee High Socks so far? Get ready for the next look! It’s just as wild as the first two! x
Hey guys! So this past week I had the pleasure of styling some AMAZING knee high socks from an awesome company called “Chrissy’s Knee High Socks” which sells AMAZING socks in all forms, thigh highs, knee highs, all styles including all over print, striped, argyle, neon, plaid, the list can go on and on! Anyway, I am styling FIVE different looks with FIVE VERY DIFFERENT styles of knee high socks! Since there are five looks, I’m breaking each post up into one look each. My first look is very purple! I’m so in love with these purple knee high socks, featuring marijuana leaves in teal and lavender colors!
This is prepping for the shoot!
Since these are marijuana leaves, I wanted to give the look a stoner vibe. I also got fully into it and rolled a blunt for the look. HA!
These socks are AMAZING. Ironically, as MUCH as I love these socks, they are NOT even my all time FAVORITE pair of socks that I received they have so many styles and looks, I really couldn’t decide and want to start a collection! I would literally wear knee high socks every day in high school with my pants rolled up to my knees, chucks and a band tee! Old school!
I’ve been really feeling the “candid” look of photos lately so I love the random ones where I’m walking or doing something instead of just posing. They’re getting so old. Anyways! Each pair of socks that Chrissy’s Knee High Sock’s provided are super comfortable and thick, but not TOO thick where you can’t get your pants to roll up over them if that makes sense. They keep you warm, but are fully flexible too!
It’s amazing how many purple flowers are in my neighborhood. They’re literally all over the place! So Chrissy’s Knee High Socks is DEFINITELY my new favorite spot for all types of socks and for all occasions especially holidays! My purple JERK hat is off my new collection “LIGHTS” from I’m A Jerk Industries now sold at my portfolio (still trying to get the shop up, having some problems so sorry!).
Hey guys! Sorry for my lack of blogging. I haven’t been feeling too well and even had to go to urgent care last night! But I do have some amazing new photos to share with you 🙂 First things first, I must pronounce my love for “KushyFoot” products! First things first, these socks are really comfortable and thick giving you top quality socks! The bottom of the socks have GRIPS or “ripples” on them which is one of my all time favorite features for these products!
The thickness of the socks really helps during the winter months, because they really do keep you warm!
I have the socks in all sizes including tights! One thing I’m also in love with is their “Flats To Go” because they are really compact and fold up inside their little carrying case which comes with them!
I love to slip these on when I’m in a hurry or just to run outside real fast and grab the mail or when I have to wear heels to an event and want to grab some flats to wear during downtime! These are absolutely perfect & my go – to flats because of their compatibility. They also come in multiple styles (mine are the Alligator print).
Another reason to love these socks is the high elasticity in them so they stay up really well vs constantly falling down and needing to be pulled up! I definitely recommend KushyFoot products to everyone! And the great thing is, is that you can get them online or in any drug store! Have you guys ever tried KushyFoot products? They really do live up to their name and if you haven’t you should definitely try them out! xo
Last and final look for the #MyVegasStyle Campaign for Vegas.com! This is the look I would use for a night on the strip! Hitting up all the clubs, restaurants, shopping areas, basically anywhere with my ladies at night! Vegas has style so you have to go with style!
Laura is wearing the “Puckerup Buttercup Blouse” from the RSH Shop (Sold Out), Sunglasses from the RSH Shop (Sold Out) my pearl necklace from Forever 21 (in her hair) Converse shoes, & her own shorts.
What do you guys think of all my outfits for Vegas.com’s “My Vegas Style” campaign. You can view ALL the photos from this shoot at my Facebook page or my Flickr (there’s a lot!) Actually I think they are all posted at my Flickr but only half are at my Facebook page… Hope you guys like it <3
Hey guys! So this is part three of four for the #MyVegasStyle campaign for Vegas.com! Look #3 is out about in Vegas during the daytime! Whether it’s out to lunch or heading to pool to hang out with your friends!
I definitely wanted to “SPARKLE” in Vegas so I chose a sequin top & tribal skirt. Thoughts for the day in the city?
