How To Style: Chrissy’s Knee High Socks – Stoner Vibes (Part One)

Hey guys! So this past week I had the pleasure of styling some AMAZING knee high socks from an awesome company called “Chrissy’s Knee High Socks” which sells AMAZING socks in all forms, thigh highs, knee highs, all styles including all over print, striped, argyle, neon, plaid, the list can go on and on! Anyway, I am styling FIVE different looks with FIVE VERY DIFFERENT styles of knee high socks! Since there are five looks, I’m breaking each post up into one look each. My first look is very purple! I’m so in love with these purple knee high socks, featuring marijuana leaves in teal and lavender colors!

Since these are marijuana leaves, I wanted to give the look a stoner vibe. I also got fully into it and rolled a blunt for the look. HA!

These socks are AMAZING. Ironically, as MUCH as I love these socks, they are NOT even my all time FAVORITE pair of socks that I received they have so many styles and looks, I really couldn’t decide and want to start a collection! I would literally wear knee high socks every day in high school with my pants rolled up to my knees, chucks and a band tee! Old school!

I’ve been really feeling the “candid” look of photos lately so I love the random ones where I’m walking or doing something instead of just posing. They’re getting so old. Anyways! Each pair of socks that Chrissy’s Knee High Sock’s provided are super comfortable and thick, but not TOO thick where you can’t get your pants to roll up over them if that makes sense. They keep you warm, but are fully flexible too!

It’s amazing how many purple flowers are in my neighborhood. They’re literally all over the place! So Chrissy’s Knee High Socks is DEFINITELY my new favorite spot for all types of socks and for all occasions especially holidays! Personal Style: Floral Crochet

I kind of seriously love the fish eye vibe that my new wide angle lens gives off. Also thank GOD for my wide angle lens because I couldn’t find ANYWHERE to shoot with a solid background except for my porch and I was literally two feet from the camera but still got my entire body in the shot… WOO thank you mom for that one!

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Makeup & Makeup Kit (Part One)

Hey guys! It’s been stupidly hard to blog since my camera broke but the good news is, my new DSLR comes in the mail TOMORROW! I should be getting my camera bag & tripod today anywho! I went shopping with my mom this past weekend and have a LOT of stuff to share so this is part one: the makeup!

I’m really excited because I finally got myself a makeup kit (it’s a bit small but it’s a start!) I have so much makeup that I have a huge makeup bag full of just lipstick plus these two little travel bags (both purple) one came with my new brushes! Check it out!

nSo I lost my black lipstick when I moved out of my grandmas house and have been looking for a new one ever since… But I finally got some NUDE lipsticks which I’m super excited about. One is more of a peach nude and is called “Lasting Finish” by Kate for Rimmel. (also Target doesnt sell my favorite lipstick brand and that’s really disappointing to me). The next one is “Bare All” which is more of a nude nude by Maybelline. The deep Rose one is called “Berry Rose” and is a nice mix between pink, red and purple. The last is a “Lilac Flush” which is a pink but not too bright since it’s mixed with purple.

nI noticed after getting home that a LOT of my brushes went missing including my favorite blush / contour cheeks brush so I went and got some new brushes that came with a little makeup bag (haven’t decided what to use it for yet tho because…)

nAll of my brushes don’t fit in it so I use my other purple travel sized bag which is a little bigger for my brushes!

nI also redid my key chains because I have quite a few new things including my purple pill holder, the butterfly keychain that my mom got me for Christmas & this daisy hand sanitizer holder (we went to bath and body works but that’s a different blog!) I also added my purple sharpie because I’m collecting everything purple on my keys!

nAnd now it’s time for this bad boy! My new makeup kit. Like I said it’s a bit small for everything I have but I love it! It locks so I added the key to my key ring!

nWhen it opens it has four shelves and a large bottom. So I put all my basics on the bottom.

nThe makeup that it holds are the BEST make ups I have including Dark Heart Designs (seriously the best makeup ever) I also added a few pallets that I use often. All my other makeup (broken pallets) like Elf that come off very easily I put inside the bag with my lipsticks for “back up”. I also got some regular items like black eyeliner (pencil, cuz i have liquid) & gray eyeliner, makeup remover wipes, q-tips, oil wipes, etc.

The very top holds my eyeliners, mascaras & eye shadow base (which I will be doing a review on because it’s great!) so this is the MAKEUP STUFF that I got this weekend. I have tons more to show like I said bath and body works, I got a few new clothing items & a lot of skincare product so! So it’s going to be a full blogging day for me! But first I am going to get dressed and do my makeup!

Inspiration: When It Rains…

Even though it’s been a while, I still LOVE all of these especially the purple polka dot rain jacket! I have a bright yellow one but I have no idea what happened to the pink plaid rainboots that I had… :/ This is also the last post of the night and the end of the SECOND month of my blog… That’s two months down out of four years… I’m about to cry :/

Totally in love with ponchos still. I don’t own one and don’t know if I will ever be able to find one in person that I actually like. Nor do I remember where I found any of these they probably aren’t for sale anymore anyways since this was 2013 but a girl can dream! And get inspiration for when I do find a poncho! The idea of draping a shirt over me is cool. It wouldn’t really do much to hold the rain out like a traditional jacket because it’s cotton but hey…

‘I’m loving both of these… especially the purple one! I no longer need a raincoat, like I mentioned above I have a bright yellow one. Traditional and classic… like a school bus! HA! But if I rain into the purple polka dots in the store I would probably get it just for a backup… Or if someone wants to find me anything in purple I wouldn’t mind! Just saying! Do you own a rain jacket or “slicker”? What about boots? I miss my big yellow rainboots. I used to wear them everywhere but when they start letting water in… it’s time to let them go. x
