My Favorite Mascara: Loreal Paris Double Extend
My Favorite Mascara: Loreal Paris Double Extend: So I have completely fallen in love with a new mascara. I used to use MaryKay Signature Mascara because my mom used it but then stopped and switched Maybelline’s Great Lash because my sister used it. One my search for white mascara in January, I bought a new mascara which has become my all time favourite mascara of all time. So I figured I would give it a bit of a review.
Although the mascara’s got progressively BETTER with each one the most recent that I’ve tried leaves my eyelashes a LOT bigger than the previous ones. That’s without curling the lashes. The double extend has two different layers of mascara including “white” which I used before by itself but it does not work as well as when the two are infused together.
The length of the lashes really shows after applying BOTH sides of the mascara. They did get a bit “smaller” when I actually curled them with an eyelash curler but my lashes are so long they pretty much style themselves before the curler so I understand.
The mascara is waterproof and does technically work in two colors both white and black but the white comes out in small doses and doesn’t really turn your eyelashes completely white. Either way, this mascara is definitely worth checking out have you ever tried it or thought about trying it? Do you like it or will you consider trying it? It’s my favourite. www.rosiesayshello.com

B.O. & Shopping Don’t Mix
So last night, I went shopping for my Valentine’s Day outfit. Unfortunately for me, the shoes I wanted weren’t at ANY STORE in my size. Which is ironic because these shoes are literally everywhere right now. Alas, I settled on a different pair but while running from store to store trying on clothing, something happened and I decided I wanted to blog about it because it’s kind of important!
n
Ladies, when you’re shopping and running around back and forth in the mall, you start to sweat and then you go around trying on clothing that people are going to be buying. Don’t be embarrassed, everyone sweats! The only problem with deodorant is that it’s possible to leave marks on the clothing you’re trying especially if it’s black! Now depending on the amount of time you wear the shirt in the dressing room (say you’re trying on skirts and leave that shirt on to pair it with them) you’re going to leave a smell on the shirt.
n
So how do we avoid doing this out of common courtesy for others? Ironically like I said using deodorant is actually bad for you! It releases toxins into your body so while looking for something to do about it, I ran across a home remedies list for body odor that gives ways to eliminate B.O. without using deodorant (although, I recommend you probably should still wear it… if you have been) and I won’t lie, I’m not a deodorant fan. I felt bad about that until one day I heard Kate Hudson doing an interview about Fool’s Gold and she told them that Matthew M doesn’t wear deodorant and he showers if he starts to smell. Amazing, made me feel so incredibly normal and now I just remember that every time. Everyone is different and not everyone even smells! It’s amazing lol.
n
Some of the natural ways you can get rid of B.O. include:
n
Bathing with Rose Water
n
Apple Cider Vinegar
n
Baking soda
n
Baby powder
n
The list goes on and on! You can even drink different teas on a daily basis to eliminate B.O. you can read the full list here: http://www.natural-homeremedies.com/homeremedies_body_odor.htm
n
Which one do you think would be most effective? I think I’m going to try bathing with Rose water because it says it eliminates the odor completely! Does anyone have any home remedies for getting rid of B.O. the natural way? Which one of these would you try?
Is A Pixie Haircut for Me?
So, my hair is awful. Everyone loves it because it’s so long and curly but frankly, it’s course, I have split ends, my curls are slowly becoming frizzy rather than spiral curls. I either need to chop it all off or learn how to style hair. Considering I’m lazy and more towards the “roll out of bed and if I stink shower…” type of attitude I’m thinking a pixie cut may be just the thing for me!
n

n
My sister and I talked about this a few years ago, I really liked the idea but that was before I was 18 and my mom didn’t give me the option of doing whatever I want with my hair. We talked about doing it really short though, like so I could spike it.
n

n
The only reason I’m actually considering it now is because my girl crush looks AMAZING with it…

n
Look at that flawless face, she looks good with everything! I think I like the longer version of the cut though, the kind with it swooped into your face but I think that would take styling. I always see a picture Anyways, for those of you who have considered Pixie Haircuts or gotten them, did you regret it? Did you love it? Do you think it would look alright on my face/features or should I consider a different cut? x
