How To Style: Chrissy’s Knee High Socks – Bermuda, Bahama (Part Two)

So what did you guys think of look one number of Chrissy’s Knee High Socks? Are you excited for look number two? I originally had an entirely different look planned for this! I wanted to go with a “Oops I Did it Again” – Britney Spears type of thing, but then I decided that wasn’t really my style and flipped the whole thing upside down!

The socks were pink and gray Argyle style and they remind me of the Britney Spears video don’t they?! Or preppy girl 101 hah! I took a different route. Something that was wild and bright.

I went with one of my favorite shirts – it’s a silky all over print retro styled fish button up blouse. It’s very hard to pair with anything due to the wildness of the print, both color wise and pattern, so I always go with something really out there! The shirt really does give off a retro vibe, so I decided to add on some round pink glasses, Bermuda shorts and a pink beanie.

The socks are even thicker than the ones with prints on them. Since the pattern is so complex, they have pretty much a double layer for the gray and then one for the pinks. It came in super handy because lately it’s been very cold and it even rained yesterday!

The look was topped off with a gold necklace that had pearls and pink hearts and a gold “Bonjour” belt from ShopLuvB.com’s “Bonjour Dress”. I went with a lilac lipstick color which I have since fallen in love with!

Since the look had a hippy – 70’s vibe, I decided to kick off my shoes in the middle of the shoot and curl my toes, so to speak.

How To Style: Chrissy’s Knee High Socks – Stoner Vibes (Part One)

Hey guys! So this past week I had the pleasure of styling some AMAZING knee high socks from an awesome company called “Chrissy’s Knee High Socks” which sells AMAZING socks in all forms, thigh highs, knee highs, all styles including all over print, striped, argyle, neon, plaid, the list can go on and on! Anyway, I am styling FIVE different looks with FIVE VERY DIFFERENT styles of knee high socks! Since there are five looks, I’m breaking each post up into one look each. My first look is very purple! I’m so in love with these purple knee high socks, featuring marijuana leaves in teal and lavender colors!

This is prepping for the shoot!

Since these are marijuana leaves, I wanted to give the look a stoner vibe. I also got fully into it and rolled a blunt for the look. HA!

These socks are AMAZING. Ironically, as MUCH as I love these socks, they are NOT even my all time FAVORITE pair of socks that I received they have so many styles and looks, I really couldn’t decide and want to start a collection! I would literally wear knee high socks every day in high school with my pants rolled up to my knees, chucks and a band tee! Old school!

I’ve been really feeling the “candid” look of photos lately so I love the random ones where I’m walking or doing something instead of just posing. They’re getting so old. Anyways! Each pair of socks that Chrissy’s Knee High Sock’s provided are super comfortable and thick, but not TOO thick where you can’t get your pants to roll up over them if that makes sense. They keep you warm, but are fully flexible too!

It’s amazing how many purple flowers are in my neighborhood. They’re literally all over the place! So Chrissy’s Knee High Socks is DEFINITELY my new favorite spot for all types of socks and for all occasions especially holidays! Confessions of a Shopaholic: The Clothing (Part Two)

First of all I would like to apologize for the quality :/ like I said my new camera arrives tomorrow (hopefully during the day and not at 5pm) so after that my photos won’t be pieces of shit anymore…

Anyways this past weekend I got two pairs of pjs, two pairs of shorts & some glitter tights to replace my old ones that are ripped beyond belief!

I’ve been wearing these plaid ones everywhere! I love the shorts though because they are cheeseburgers which is my all time favorite food!

The first are bemuda shorts that go a little above my knee.

The others are black high waisted shorts with lots of buttons & I like that cuz it makes the high waisted part look better.

The last are glitter tights black & gold 🙂 oh I also got a red bra it looks like all my others but it’s red I noticed that’s the only color I don’t own! So I got one 🙂 what do you think? Again sorry for the photo quality!

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Makeup & Makeup Kit (Part One)

Hey guys! It’s been stupidly hard to blog since my camera broke but the good news is, my new DSLR comes in the mail TOMORROW! I should be getting my camera bag & tripod today 🙂 anywho! I went shopping with my mom this past weekend and have a LOT of stuff to share so this is part one: the makeup!

I’m really excited because I finally got myself a makeup kit (it’s a bit small but it’s a start!) I have so much makeup that I have a huge makeup bag full of just lipstick plus these two little travel bags (both purple) one came with my new brushes! Check it out!

So I lost my black lipstick when I moved out of my grandmas house and have been looking for a new one ever since… But I finally got some NUDE lipsticks which I’m super excited about. One is more of a peach nude and is called “Lasting Finish” by Kate for Rimmel. (also Target doesnt sell my favorite lipstick brand and that’s really disappointing to me). The next one is “Bare All” which is more of a nude nude by Maybelline. The deep Rose one is called “Berry Rose” and is a nice mix between pink, red and purple. The last is a “Lilac Flush” which is a pink but not too bright since it’s mixed with purple. 🙂

I noticed after getting home that a LOT of my brushes went missing including my favorite blush / contour cheeks brush so I went and got some new brushes that came with a little makeup bag (haven’t decided what to use it for yet tho because…)

All of my brushes don’t fit in it so I use my other purple travel sized bag which is a little bigger for my brushes!

I also redid my key chains because I have quite a few new things including my purple pill holder, the butterfly keychain that my mom got me for Christmas & this daisy hand sanitizer holder (we went to bath and body works but that’s a different blog!) I also added my purple sharpie 😉 because I’m collecting everything purple on my keys!

And now it’s time for this bad boy! My new makeup kit. Like I said it’s a bit small for everything I have but I love it! It locks so I added the key to my key ring!

When it opens it has four shelves and a large bottom. So I put all my basics on the bottom.

The makeup that it holds are the BEST make ups I have including Dark Heart Designs (seriously the best makeup ever) I also added a few pallets that I use often. All my other makeup (broken pallets) like Elf that come off very easily I put inside the bag with my lipsticks for “back up”. I also got some regular items like black eyeliner (pencil, cuz i have liquid) & gray eyeliner, makeup remover wipes, q-tips, oil wipes, etc.

The very top holds my eyeliners, mascaras & eye shadow base (which I will be doing a review on because it’s great!) so this is the MAKEUP STUFF that I got this weekend. I have tons more to show like I said bath and body works, I got a few new clothing items & a lot of skincare product so! So it’s going to be a full blogging day for me! But first I am going to get dressed and do my makeup! 😉

Inspiration: When It Rains…

Even though it’s been a while, I still LOVE all of these especially the purple polka dot rain jacket! I have a bright yellow one but I have no idea what happened to the pink plaid rainboots that I had… :/ This is also the last post of the night and the end of the SECOND month of my blog… That’s two months down out of four years… I’m about to cry :/

Totally in love with ponchos still. I don’t own one and don’t know if I will ever be able to find one in person that I actually like. Nor do I remember where I found any of these 🙁 they probably aren’t for sale anymore anyways since this was 2013 but a girl can dream! And get inspiration for when I do find a poncho! The idea of draping a shirt over me is cool. It wouldn’t really do much to hold the rain out like a traditional jacket because it’s cotton but hey…

‘I’m loving both of these… especially the purple one! I no longer need a raincoat, like I mentioned above I have a bright yellow one. Traditional and classic… like a school bus! HA! But if I rain into the purple polka dots in the store I would probably get it just for a backup… 🙂 Or if someone wants to find me anything in purple I wouldn’t mind! Just saying! Do you own a rain jacket or “slicker”? What about boots? I miss my big yellow rainboots. I used to wear them everywhere but when they start letting water in… it’s time to let them go. x

How To Style: Kushy Foot Socks & Flats

Hey guys! Sorry for my lack of blogging. I haven’t been feeling too well and even had to go to urgent care last night! But I do have some amazing new photos to share with you 🙂 First things first, I must pronounce my love for “KushyFoot” products! First things first, these socks are really comfortable and thick giving you top quality socks! The bottom of the socks have GRIPS or “ripples” on them which is one of my all time favorite features for these products!

The thickness of the socks really helps during the winter months, because they really do keep you warm!

I have the socks in all sizes including tights! One thing I’m also in love with is their “Flats To Go” because they are really compact and fold up inside their little carrying case which comes with them!

I love to slip these on when I’m in a hurry or just to run outside real fast and grab the mail or when I have to wear heels to an event and want to grab some flats to wear during downtime! These are absolutely perfect & my go – to flats because of their compatibility. They also come in multiple styles (mine are the Alligator print).

Another reason to love these socks is the high elasticity in them so they stay up really well vs constantly falling down and needing to be pulled up! I definitely recommend KushyFoot products to everyone! And the great thing is, is that you can get them online or in any drug store! Have you guys ever tried KushyFoot products? The other day my mom & I went to get some bras for my Christmas Dress (which aren’t pictured) but we got two nude completely strapless stick on (it’s taped onto your skin) so you can’t see them anywhere… While we were there they were having a Holiday Promotion! Buy two PINK bras (not VS) and you’ll get a free bathrobe & free blanket!

So I got some different bras that weren’t so basic! One is a green that’s like a halter top and the other has sporty straps in the back and is bright orange!

Then when we were checking out I got two lip glosses a plumper and a glitter one for the Holidays. After that I was informed it was buy two get two free! So I got two free lip glosses + a free bathrobe & a free blanket! So rad!

I also got a bunch of underwear that I didn’t take photos of either. It was definitely a win a Victoria Secrets! Did you get any good deals for the Holidays? x

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Accessories From Black Friday

Hey guys! So this week my mom & I went shopping and LITERALLY replaced my entire Fall/Winter wardrobe. I got so much that I actually broke it into sections to blog about! 😛

These are only some of the accessories I got this week. I haven’t taken photos of my new beanies or any of my clothes yet. But here’s to start!

I definitely needed new boots because all my boots talk/are worn out.

The first ones are ankle booties with heels and they have a gold buckle on the side. I might wear them for Christmas I havent decided yet; the rest are flat boots. The second ones are my new everyday boots (if you remember my old black boots they replaced these). The third ones are black suede so I only want to wear them occasionally or they will get scuffed up. The last ones are my knee high brown boots because tall boots are needed too! I have so many pairs of slippers but none of them seem to match… So I got these super cute Panda slippers! I’m in love!

I also needed regular necessities, including lots of socks! (Not all my thigh highs are pictured) I only got one graphic print pair that says hi. I really love the color gray especially heather gray for clothing. The gray glitter ones are the only knee highs. The others are amazing they have fuzzy tops on them. I also got some gray tights for these really cute basic dresses I got.

I’m so excited because I’ve never found my actual size (32B) anywhere other than Victoria’s Secret so I got some new bras and I’m selling my old ones (34B) on Vinted they’re super cute! These new bras fit so perfect and the material feels so great!

I also found XS undies (Wal Mart doesn’t sell XS in intmates) so I got a bunch of new pairs! (Not all pictures).

Then I passed by the gloves. The middle pair comes apart so I have black fingerless + regular white ones, lavender ones & black leather with a bow that I’m wearing for Christmas!

Last of the accessories (besides the beanies) the black glitter clutch is for Christmas & the lavender one is my new everyday wallet! Both hold my phone right inside!

Then there’s the clothes. I’m still going through all my old ones and getting rid of things.

After I’m done I’m putting everything for sale on my Vinted page. Shoes too. Until I go through it later, these are my new accessories. I’m so happy with everything! The clothes might need to be broke into multiple blogs! Yikes here we go… xo
